It is enough to buildt three parts:
- the first comprises only one pulley whose axis is vertical.
- the second includes/understands two pulleys, one with the vertical axis, another with the horizontal axis gone up on a piece of angle riveted. One will take care well so that the throats of the pulleys are well aligned (see photo)
- the third part is symmetrical second. It is used as vertical pulley (horizontal axis: third pulley of the diagram) for the cutting of the left wings or well, with two pulleys installed, of intermediate system for the cutting of the right wings. If it is not clear, defer you to the photographs of the machine in action and all should be cleared up!
If your table of cutting is quite smooth (agglomerate or mélaminé) it is enough to stick the squares to the double face directly on the board. If not, use small screws.
Think of locating the axis of the vertical pulleys on the angle aluminum using a feature engraved with the scriber. That will be used for to you to stick the intermediate system to the good distance from the articulation of the rule.
The articulation of the rule is also containing angle aluminium. It is fixed under the table of cutting so that the rule in horizontal position does not butt against the pulleys. The articulation properly is done around a screw bolted in the angle. A series of nuts and counter-nuts makes it possible to align the face before rule with the balance of the lead of the pulleys.
